Supporting Transition to Secondary Mathematics
Prepare your Year 6 students for the next step in their mathematical journey with our invite only Primary Transition Project.
We are offering primary schools the opportunity to apply for a complimentary set of 30 fx-83/85GT CW scientific calculators

At Casio, we understand that moving to secondary school can be a daunting experience for students. One of the most effective ways to remove barriers to entry for Key Stage 3 Mathematics is to ensure students are confident and equipped with the right tools before they arrive. We are offering primary schools the opportunity to apply for a complimentary set of 30 fx-83/85GT CW scientific calculators and links to transition materials to support this vital change.
Why Participate?
This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between primary number skills and secondary mathematical exploration. By introducing scientific calculators in a familiar primary setting, you can help:
• Boost Confidence: Reduce “transition anxiety” by familiarising students with the technology they will use daily in secondary school.
• Enhance Readiness: Ensure students feel “ready” for the rigor of secondary Maths through dedicated transition sessions.
• Access High-Quality Resources: Receive signposted PDF transition resources, specifically curated to support the transition.
Applications are now open. Apply below.
