Single Transformation of Trig Graphs

This activity requires learners to match the equation of a transformed trigonometric graph with a sketch which is the correct shape. It then requires learners to label the key points – reinforcing the need for labelling in sketch graphs. This can be done as an exercise in degrees or in radians. There is scope for open-ended thinking, finding other ways that trigonometric graphs can be transformed to obtain the given graph.
