Intersection of Line and Circle

This resource is an exercise for finding the intersection of a variety of lines with a given circle. It is an investigation designed to promote understanding of when a line is a tangent to the circle or does not intersect it. There are instructions on how to create a graph which shows the line and a sketch of the circle, or how rewriting the equation enables the circle to be plotted and the points of intersection found using G-Solv.
