New fx-CG50 statistics training for teachers
This FREE training extends your use of the fx-CG50 graphic calculator by looking at it’s statistical applications and will help boost your confidence when teaching in the classroom.
Our training is delivered by qualified Mathematics teachers who have many years’ experience in using the calculator.
The session is suitable for teachers that have attended the Induction session and wish to further their efficient use of the calculator when teaching the Applied Statistics module.
* This course does not cover usage of the scientific fx-991CW calculator.
For the interactive session to be meaningful, each teacher should have:
some understanding of A-level Statistics, especially:
• Summary statistics calculation
• Probability Distributions
– access to an up to date fx-CG50 graphic calculator with OS 3.6 or later (update here https://education.casio.co.uk/support/os-files/ )
– A PC or tablet with a microphone and preferably a webcam. The session will be hosted via Zoom. Please ensure device compatibility before the session. (To avoid audio feedback, please log-in in separate rooms)
