Bivariate Data Pack

This activity introduces the learners to the correlation coefficient and the regression line. Learners must consider independent and dependent variables and interpret the values of the correlation coefficient and the coefficients in the equation of the regression line. There are learner notes explaining how to work with bivariate data on the fx-CG50, draw scatter diagrams, finding a regression line and calculate the correlation coefficient. In common with other resources on data handling here, the data used is taken from the 2021 European Indoor Athletics Championships. The Athletic.csv file is ready to import to the fx-CG50 and is included with the pack.
